http :// myspace, com /austinfictionwriter I'm writing my first fiction book and so far, I think it's coming along great! While I cannot disclose too much of it's contents, I will say that the story includes travel to many places both in the US and world wide. My problem as a writer is that I cannot visit every place in person that I'm writing about. I...

AA will allow a GPS device on board, but it's supposed to be turned off. Well, OK. However, do they supply the lat/long on a screen? I asked the agent about this, and she says many long international flights do. Has anyone had experience with this? Of course, it might be interrupted by a movie. I've seen it on flights between Europe and the US. --...

Hi I have an Antarctic trip booked for mid January and prior to boarding the ship I have a couple of free days in Ushuaia. One of the things I want to do in Ushuaia is to do some walking in Tierra del Fuego NP. Unfortunately I am one of those people who act as a "mosquito magnet" and invariably have a permanent cloud of biting insects hovering over...

Suggestions? Even the long tours through Moskita (which I don't really have time for) seem to downplay wildlife viewing. Even just a good place to see spider monkeys would be helpful. -- Photos and travelogues from Africa and Southeast Asia: http :// www .exile.org

I am thinking about going to the Hotel Catedral in Mexico City. However I have seen a mention of the Hotel Monaco that was favorable. Any opinions on this hotel? -- Jerry Bank Trenton, New Jersey Music is the language of the gods.

I'm going back to Copper Canyon in December 2007. I loved Creel, the train, and the Sierra Madre mountains. After I ride the train a little, I am heading down toward Acapulco. Since I have lots of time, I want to travel and stay in the mountains, not on the coast through Mazatlan. My questions: Do I head south from Creel? What roads do I take? (I'm...

Caribbean side of Costa Rica is not for everyone. That is what makes it special. But before you make up your mind, why don't you see how travellers that actually visited there see it. http :// www .puertoviejosatellite, com /photos-blogs.php This link has lots of photo galleries, video posts and blog entries about travelling to Puerto Viejo.
