We are thinking of flying in to Liberia in 2 weeks and exploring the northwest region. We went to San Jose, Arenal and Monteverde a few years ago. Can anyone suggest a one week itinerary taking in the beaches and national parks? We will be renting a car. Are the road conditions as bad as they are near Monteverde? Any other advice/tips?
