If someone has a bicuspid valve, aortic stenosis, and coarctation of the aorta.... would any of those conditions cause serum ferritin or iron level to be low? If so, how.. what is the mechanism?

I need to find an authoritative reference outlining the effect of heavy regular (not binge drinking as such) alcohol consumption on plaque buildup - if in fact there is any such relationship. Thanks for any suggestions.
