My family and I went camping two weeks ago at Lake Mead in Nevada. We only stayed one night. After our trip, we noticed that my son had a bunch of bug bites (as did my wife and I). They looked like typical mosquito bites and we thought nothing of it. Two days ago, 4 of the bites seemed to get bigger (almost overnight). The bite looked like it has...

I recommend it. And recommend it to your IDSA pals. Grow up; admit you creeps all lied. Because to the rest of us, you're a bunch of squealing, low-life, liars. You're all even lower low-lives than the frickin ticks. You're an international scientific embarrassment. http :// www .actionlyme.org

IDSA is backed into a corner. It is their own work that condemns them. They would not have agreed to the settlement had they not known Blumenthal's office was furious over what Shapiro did/does. IDSA is backed into a corner. All they can say now is that persisting infection does not equal persisting infection? That's pretty lame-ass, but think about...

The IDSA is aware that chronic Lyme exists. We know this because members of the 2000 and 2006 Lyme disease guideline panels wrote, in research articles and patents, that chronic Lyme exists. Evidence about the existence of chronic Lyme borreliosis has increased since the 2006 LD guidelines were published. Scientists in California recently reported...

Okay, this one is odd: One of the more widely-spread and persistent alternative health theories is the idea that pH balance is a key to health. I remain agnostic as to whether, say, staying in the alkaline range can prevent cancer. But I found the idea interesting enough to spring a few bucks for a container of pH test strips. Yes, I know the blood...

I keep reading that alcohol is contraindicated for Lyme disease, but damned if anyone says why. I do find my alcohol tolerance is down -- a glass and a half of wine is enough to feel. But why the total proscription? I asked my pharmacist; he says that at that level it doesn't counteract the doxycycline. Some other reason?

LOL. I love this. (Stolen from LNE): =============================================================== Slacktivism" (alternative spelling "slactivism") is a fusion of the words "slacker" and "activism," and UrbanDicationary, com defines it as "the act of participating in obviously pointless activities as an expedient alternative to actually expending effort...
