Having recently been on combo treatment for hepc (32 weeks, unsuccessfully), I had to have hemorrhoid surgery while in treatment. I know there are a host of side effects with ribavirin and interferon. Any evidence that hemorrhoids may be one side effect that just hasn't been reported sufficiently?

When my son was a couple months old the doctors decided to test him for Hep C. The results were posititve. They told me not to worry because he probably was carrying my antibodies. So they did a different test which was also positive. This time they said it was to early to tell, test him at one. We tested him at one and then at two which were both positive....
