I already have what I assume is an adequate intake of Lycopeine from fresh and processed tomatoes. I eat a head of broccoli in some or another form daily. I'm a chilli-head, so get a fair dose of Capsaicin. But recently bought at Holland & Barret in UK, a shebang of supplements, some of which I now realise are of too low a dosage to be of much practical...

Hello, a friend of mine had a prostata surgery, now (one week after it) he has pains in his right leg. Directly after the surgery he had a little bad feeling in the big toe, now he has pains up to the inside of his leg. Is this a known problem? Thanks, Ernst Sauer

Until now it had been assumed that cancer cells used...

BBC reports the following: Drug 'strangles cancer's spread' The spread of prostate cancer can be halted with a drug which "strangles" tumour cells by cutting off their blood supply, a study has suggested. Prostate biopsies have been recommended when the PSA (Prostatic Specific Antigen) gets higher. However, there are many conditions beside prostate cancer that heighten the PSA, being the most frequent urinary infections, tumors, cysts, stones, sexual activity, transrectal exams and specially the prostate biopsy. The New York Times has posted the following questions in an article. It seems that some prostate cancer treatments are much, much more profitable than others, and this can/is (who knows) affecting recommendations. ----- The nearly 240,000 men in the United States who will learn they have prostate cancer this year have one more thing to worry about:...
