Hi all, my father, 64 years old, has given up tennis about 5 years ago because of a shortage of knee cartilage. He has tried some infiltrations without success, do you know a good medical center or doctor who could solve definitely the problem with a cartilage transplant or similar ? thanks and best regards Alessandro

Hello. I'm from Croatia so excuse me for my English. I have been diagnosed with a leg length discrepancy of 2,5 cm from orthopedics. However this is not such big problem since I have orthopedic shoes. My question is other. One doctor said that I walk "towards inside since my birth" (I think that even Elvis Presley walked that way). I don' know the medical...

About July 18th, I began experiencing a numbing, tingling pain in the right upper thigh and just above the knee. The pain is about a 8 on a 1-10 scale continually. I have problems walking, standing, even trying to get to sleep at times. I have had x-rays of the lumbar spine (normal), right hip (normal), thigh (normal, but on the very edge it shows signs...

Hello, I am sending this e-mail to introduce the Robbins Comfort Grip, a new ergonomically designed crutch hand grip. These grips put the hands in a more natural position and allow the user to be supported by the palms, rather than clutched fists. Please take a look at the web sight at www.robbinsgrips.com. Thanks, Wesley Robbins wesrob@robb...

Hello, the 23 June I have fractured my right clavicle after a bad fall from my bicycle. The first X-rays show the two parts of the bone clearly disjointed, with a big gap in between. Then, as I was told it would happen, they gradually started to reduce the gap, aiming at a realignment; after that, I have been told, they would start to heal. The point...

I had an arthroscopy in January to remove some loose bodies and scar tissue in my ankle that had accumulated since a surgery in 2000 to repair the ligaments after years of playing volleyball. The surgery went well, and I was back to my normal activities after only a few days. After a week, I developed a large hematoma which caused one of the incision sites...

Hello. I am a 33-year-old male. On my right foot, I have what I thought was a big callus. However, I recently saw my dermatologist, and he said that part of what I have is a callus and that the rest is a cyst. He recommended that I see an orthopedic surgeon. I asked whether I should see a podiatrist instead. The dermatologist said that he believes that...

Hi, I broke right hand scaphoid in April, as per doctor it was minimal displacement and we decided to put cast (including thumb) for 6 weeks, but that didn't help and have to put cast for 3 more weeks. As of today (after almost 10 weeks), it still didn't heal completely, though there is bit of improvement. I don't feel any pain at the location where the...

Hello, If anyone has any insights or suggestions here, it would be awesome. I have a back and leg muscle problem. I have pain near the very bottom of my backbone- its not very intense although I sometimes get a twinge of sharper pain. I find it uncomfortable to lie on my back. The muscles in my hips and buttocks, and to some extent my upper thighs, are...
