Here's the question: who should I call to repair this thing? An authorized Whirlpool repair place, right? I want to get a decent deal, not be overcharged. It's a pretty new, fairly nice $1000 side-by-side, with icemaker and water through the door, or I would just buy another one. It is no longer under any sort of warranty that I know of. Thanks...

I just acquired a Kenmore 'Coldspot' refrigerator, Mod. #71192100, Mfg date 07-01 and it came without a manual. Re: Coiled cable for hand control Pride Chair TMR575 w/heat & massage. Due to poor design of the strain relief, my coiled cable keeps breaking at the control despite several repairs. The problem is that the strain relief is too brittle and cracks without much assistance from me. I've repaired the broken wires and reinforced the cable inside the hand control housing...

I have a couple of small (but getting longer) cracks in my otherwise smooth and unblemished driveway, what is the best product to use to seal them. I'm a little uneasy about just filling them with a tar sealant because the disparity in color will make it stand out all that much more. Is there some product on the market that will seal the cracks to protect...

I have a Murray 12hp, when I turn the key it clicks. I did the troubleshooting suggested in other threads, but the solenoid is hidden so it was difficult to short the posts. So instead, I used a heavy cable, attached one end with a spade terminal to the positive post on the battery, and touched the other end to the large post with the red wire on the starter....
