Got a device that has lots of corners, differences in materials, etc. If I masked it for painting, would be masking forever. I'd like to refresh the smooth metal parts. Are there automotive paints like Imron, Acrylic, etc that will brush on OK? The shiny gloss would be good to have. If worst comes to worst, I can use water based latex outdoor gloss....

I have a GE refrig that has an icemaker. For some time now I've had probems. The water seems to leak down into the freezer compartment rather than into the cube-sized freezer unit. I get ice in the recepticle tray, i.e. frozen chunks in the container and ice in the rest of the freezer unit. My guess is that this is a common problem but I don't know...

I put my first piece of hardie board down in my bathroom. The problem have is the screws are not going flush with the hardie board. The store said to use drywall screws. Several web pages recommend using these to extend an outlet or switch box when wood is installed over a wall that has existing outlet boxes. The problem is, I can't find them anywhere, even online.
