A new GA law allows people with concealed weapons permits to carry guns on public transportation, in parks and restaurants that serve alcohol. All these places were illegal for guns before July 1 2008.However the mayor of Atlanta says anyone bringing a gun to the Atlanta aiport will be arrested. GaCarry.org has filed a suit against the mayor to stop her...

Damn I'm all ready to piss away my stimulous check for yet another Vegas trip in August, but I can't get a decent airfare from NYC. Can't help but wonder how all this is impacting the strip biggies? Am I wrong or didn't they help subsidize the airlines many years ago, when they used to have "junket" trips? Can those days be far behind? -- JK ...
