I've never been able to find a nice big flea in the Vegas area. Not one of those filled with mostly handbags & jewelry, but a cool local one with fold up tables. Is there such a thing and where? Has anyone stayed at the Plaza or Las Vegas Club lately? My wife and I are planning a trip in November and would like to stay downtown but she's worried about ending up in a real dump. She doesn't care if it's fancy just clean and secure. Any downtown hotel reviews would be appreciated. - G.V.

Never having used an ATM nor debit card, I was wondering how they generally work in regard to daily limits. Seems a good friend of ours, about 30 years old, was in N.O. for a bachelor party, drunk at a strip club. His friends had all gone to bed (some friends?), and some natives talked him into getting into their car. Evidently he had been drugged, roffies...

I've been checking my Oct/Nov flight prices out and this AM the LAS- MDW dropped $68 so I rebooked. Down to $328.50 R/T. Still that's about $200 more than last year but better than the $444 or so it was when the fares first opened up! Still have to call the Riv up and see what deals the host can get me (Thur - Mon)..
