I'm gonna be in DC for a week beginning the 30th of this month. I was wondering if the JR Cigar store in DC was still there. Anyone know for sure? -- R J Talley Teacher/James Madison Fellow "What? Me Worry? Alfred E Newman

This is a (translated) passage from an interview with a prominent Swiss cigar smoker: "We thought about who knows best how to store something at a constant temperature and humidity. The answer is: laboratories. So we looked for a maker of climatised storage for laboratories." The bloke then goes on to specify the firm and to wonder why they don't...

This is a bit odd as reviews go simply because when I first lit this cigar I had no idea what I was smoking. It was part of a gift given to me by a non-cigar smoker. Included in the gift were some no-name dull smokes one of which was actually kind of bad. I saved this one simply because of the slick looking band and because of its size .. . it was huge....

Drew Estates Liga Privada No. 9 The cigar was clad in a perfect oscuro wrapper, smooth and finely textured. Awesome understated band. As a Leo, I can appreciate the crest. Pre-light aroma has the scent of loam and a hint of old cigar smoke. Very evocative. Solid, weighty roll. Magnificent! I ran a pocketknife around the cap just at the base of the...
