This morning I enjoyed a beautifully constucted Cohiba Siglo I. I received a 5 pack of these little gems from my brother-law whose living in the Hague. This is the first of these that I've tried and I truly enjoyed it. I haven't had much experience with Cohibas, I had a box of Esplendidos that was amazing, but definitely not a morning cigar. This was not...

Light up 3 good ones for Tania Payne, Richard Saylor and Wayne "CigarSki" Sikorski, who have birthdays, today. Elsewhere in history: Apr 19 1910 Halley's comet reappears, last seen in 1835. The Earth passes safely through the comet's tail with no perceptible effect, not counting the death of Mark Twain. Apr 19 1943 During an early-morning operation...

What is a traveling humidor? How big are they or how many cigars do they carry? I saw one at the cigar place was about $200. They had wood and metal looking ones--almost the size of a laptop. Somone told me he brings a few Habana's back from Europe with the label bands removed so they're generic no prob. How may cigars can you bring back like this without...

Other things that happened on April 17: 69 - After the First Battle of Bedriacum, Vitellius becomes Roman Emperor. 1397 - Geoffrey Chaucer tells the Canterbury Tales for the first time at the court of Richard II. Chaucer scholars have also identified this...

A crusty old man walks into the local First Baptist Church and says to the secretary, 'I would like to join this damn church.' The astonished woman replies, 'I beg your pardon, sir. I must have misunderstood you. What did you say?' 'Listen up, damn it. I said I want to join this damn church!' 'I'm very sorry sir, but that kind of language is...
