Maybe it's just me, but I think it's been a while since we had a real thread on cigars. Hello, fellas, I'm wondering where there may be reviews on two Partagas Black cigars: the Pyramide and the Gigante. If someone knows where these might be located, would you kindly send me the link? Thanks! Sandy Gerli ac1y@nc.rr . com

Once again I will be attending the Memorial Tournament and enjoying watching golf pass by me, while sipping a cocktail and smoking fine cigars at the 3rd green of the house that Jack built. I realized it has been quite some time since I have shared smokes with the folks on ASC, so I am going to revive the Memorial Tournament contest that I once did around...

Is Thompsons the only place you can get them? Id like the ability to add a picture and a small note to the bands like they offer, only from a more reputable place and on my choice of cigar. I do like the Humidor option as well. Ideas? -- David

I'm finallly getting around to building a humidor. Basically I'm gluing pieces of Spanish cedar of 9 mm * 70 mm * (length) together to form boards which I put together. I'm covering the cedar with fir plywood, And I figure I'll need to varnish it. The way I see it, I can use an alcohol-based varnish, since it's only the outer layer of wood (plywood) I'll...
