Pipers, I ask you, are the predictions about pipe tobaccos becoming in short supply in the near, med. near, or very far distance future something to become alarmed about and should I start stocking up on bundles of pipe tobaccos? I am serious with this question because I don't follow the status of tobacco laws very well since I only smoke in my home. Please...

Greetings ASP Picked up a very nice size 3ish bent Parker pipe on ebay a while back. Nomenclature stated Parker Autocrat (in script) with an italic 45 on the left side. "Made in London England" t'was on the right side. Does any one know anything about the Autocrat? Prehaps a date? I looked on Pipepages, com and Chris (bless his heart) has several Parker catalogs...

Hi ASP. I sold one of my Ardors that was too small for me and have $150 for another pipe. As some of you may have guessed, my favorite-- baring Ruthenberg--is Ferndown. I just don't have the money to buy the great pipes many of you write about smoking. I was thinking of forgoing a Ferndown this time, and buying a Peterson, but as I researched the archive...

"When I last posted, I'm thinking about 18 months or so, I had just started Sean Chercover's first book. Did I spell that right? What a fantastic debut novel! As I was reading it I was thinking 'this is how real people talk'. So refreshing. A most excellent debut novel. Does he have anything new out or in the works? That was some seriously good writing...

Is there such a tobacco or has he got it mixed up with another - maybe Peterson's Special Reserve? What's that stuff like? Im thinking...

Hello Briar Lovers, This week I will be brief. It has been a really busy week with pipes coming in and en route as well as our changing of our Cuban Cigar supplier. That is going to take another 2 weeks to finalize but, all being well, we will be able to reduce prices by 40-45% for Cubans. So that will be a case of prices for one vital article of the pleasures of...

Hello ASP! Before I get to this week's latest pipe arrivals, I would like to take a moment to let everyone know that I am FINALLY in the process of moving the physical location of the business from Rochester Hills - where I have been for 5 years - to Livonia, so I can be closer to home to help care for my wife. This move has been a long time in...
