Good Afternoon ASP, I'm just bumming around the house doing some cleaning etc. Enjoying a bowl of Three Star Blue in a Meer-lined Stalwart zulu. Probably some tea in the near future. The washer is going and I just remembered there was a tamper and a box of matches in one of my shirt pockets. Doh! Casey

After sampling a few of C&D's new flakes at the Chicago show in 2007, I wrote down Opening Night as one I would order when I got home. I also ordered Red Carpet and Interlude. After aging for a year, I started with this one, remembering that I liked it best. It was hard to tell then, however, because they were all so green. You had to use some imagination...

I don't post very often, but I lurk a lot and try to read most of the messages save the ads. One thing *I'm* either missing *or* are missing here are the number o 'reviews' of tobaccos. I've found some good tobacco reviews, certainly, on tobaccoreviews, com , but there's no conversation going on there - a lot of one-time posters (it seems to me) offering up...

I just received a "real" Old Boy lighter from frenchy. I'ts great!!! My question is : should I use Corona fluid or is Ronson fluid ok? I have a Pipemaster that I have used only Ronson fluid in for several years and it works just fine! Is the Old Boy A fragile lighter or is it a work Horse?? I just thought I would put the question to the group. Thanks! Red. All...

An old gentleman wrote to me yesterday, saying he had found the ASP site, and was unable to figure out how to get on the group to ask a question. He and his wife found some old pipes in their attic that his grandfather used to smoke. (This means that they're *very* old, as he's in his sixties.) He wants to know how much they're worth. He didn't mention eBay,...

My name is Corey, I'm 19 years old and live in Oregon, USA. I've been watching a pipemaker work for awhile now. I've learned and am learning many things. I see how these small pieces of briar transform from something so crude and natural, into something so beautiful and unreal, and I think to myself "I want to be a part of this world". I am striving...

I am considering the purchase of a "make your own pipe" from cupojoes, com , and they said that there are no instructions on how to finish the inside and outside of the pipe. I was told that this would be the place to get some information. So I was wondering what kind of stain and finish to use on the ouside and also what to do on the inside to prepare the...

Looks like roadrunner is not allowing Ed Duncan to setup his newsreader via outlook. He needs a simply easy one to view ASP. Can someone help/walk in through the process of setting one up? Enjoy each puff! :)
