Here you go, smokers. Have a field day with this one. Maybe your cillia will become so damaged that you will have to be on oxygen for the rest of your lives. http :// my.clevelandclinic.org/disorders/Asthma/hic Smoking and Asthma.aspx

Current update on one of our goofiest and hypocritical (and did I say silly) trolls - Troll "Twinkie" Shane - show a sneak-peek jump of his next surge of troll-droppings. For now, let's just call it 43,015 on well over 600 newsgroups. That, my fine fellow smokers, from one who still continues to display his bitterness, rancor, mindlessness, ignorance,...

The House is expected to vote Wednesday on HR 1108, the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act, which would give the Food and Drug Administration the power to curtail marketing, control nicotine levels and enlarge warning labels on tobacco products. http :// www .inrich, com /cva/ric/news.apx.-content-articles-RTD-2008-07-28-0214.html ---------------------------- "Control...

Here's another example where the nicotine addicts' claim that banning indoor smoking hurts businesses is wrong: This past Thursday, I attended a bowling party fund-raiser in West Philadelphia after work. This was at a bowling alley on Locust Street, near the campus of the University of Pennsylvania. It was a nice party. Soft drinks and snacks were...

This is a French movie with english subtitles. Some friends and I saw it last night at a local theater that features foreign and independent films. I rate it a 3.5 out of 5 stars. "Tell No One" lost one point because of poor quality subtitles. On some scenes, the text of the subtitles had very low contrast with the background so they were difficult...

The subject of this message is the title of a French film that's playing at some independent theaters now. I am mentioning this movie because it has smokers in almost all the scenes. Nicotine addicts will watch this movie and think back to when they were permitted to legal smoke in other people's businesses. Have a nice weekend.

Cigarette smoking is more prevalent among younger adults (18 to 49 years) than among older adults and seniors, something Gallup has seen consistently over the years. Thirty percent of 18- to 29-year-olds and 26% of those 30 to 49 say they had a cigarette in the past week. This contrasts with only 17% of those 50 to 64 and 9% of those 65 and older. As a...

Until recently, scientists haven't been able to explain why smokers have more exaggerated responses to viral infections. Smokers have been more likely than non-smokers to DIE during previous influenza epidemics and are more prone to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Furthermore, children who are exposed to second-hand smoke have more severe responses...
