G'day. I'm thinking of buying a guitar specifically set up for slide. I have in mind an Epi Firebird copy or a Danelectro (not thinking of mega-bucks here) but before I shell out my hard-earned, any suggestions? Mostly for blues (what else?) and running through a Line6. TIA GDS "Let's roll!"

He's a congenial guy! I went to Borders at Columbus Circle as per AMNY. I actually thought it was Wednesday but at the last minute I cawled to confirm and they said it was Friday. So I'm glad I didn't waste a trip. I was lucky because a couple of ppl came in and I overheard a store clerk asking if they were the publishers and they said "Yes!" Then I asked...

I've been feeding some of Australia's song birds for a while now, and it's always struck me that they're hitting the same notes each and every time. As I've moved around from place to place, they seem to play the same tune - not just the same intervals but precisely the same notes. The song birds I'm writing about aren't the pretty parrots, who just...

I work for an insurance company that lets it employees bid on items that were damaged in some way (sometimes no damage but paid on a claim). Listed now is an Ike Turner strat with "minimal" damage to the neck.Minimum bid is $300.00. I'm going to email the claim rep for pictures but from what I can tell there were only 100 made. That doesn't matter to me...

Fender produced nearly 1 billion picks, if you lay all of those picks end to end, it would be 18.742 miles long!!!!! http :// guitars-unlimited.blogspot,com /search/label/Picks

Pimpin' Popcorn sure knows how to do it. The Wereo crush any anti- Wereo ideology there is. Just like it crushed rock and roll and classic rock. The Wereo gets them dancing pretty good. I don't know why Popcorn went in that direction. He sure knows how to dig up every Dixie Dreg there is on the Internet. The Wereo is our way of Life now. Shall ye Heed...

Played around with it for a few days and returned it. It's return had nothing to do with it not being nice, it is one of the best comps I've ever used, lots of features such as one side using as a comp, the second as a comp as well or a noise gate, the gate was unreal, worked so good that it chopped off my verbs and delay times. Super quiet operation, but...

Was out window shopping at some local gear shops today not intending to buy anything....ok we know how that goes!.....anyway I saw a Tech 21 sans amp TRI-O.D. pedal, and having one of their amps in my lineup figured, what the heck, I've blown $100. in much worse ways in the past, so bagged it, got it home and it's a really useful piece, sounds great drivin'...

I just got one of these and, as far as tuners go, I think it's pretty cool. Does anyone else have one because I wanted to know what the computer type socket on the back of the pedal is for. I can't find any mention of it in the manual. Cheers. Si

When a COP pulls him over he's gonna want to know if the NAZI was ever arrested. So that's two 'GisTuRDs on the road; him and his 'gisTuRD casket. I'm glad the Nazi problem is finally over, or will be soon. 190+ etc etc. Two months? Nah. Yay! Another thing; he won't be driving the casket to New York City. That's because there's an open arrest warrant...

Don't let any FOOL tell you any otherwise. There are a lot of FOOLS on the californiajamFEDclub sites. In fact they are AWL FOOLS, and WORSE! This thing is bigger than the asshole classic rock. There's no doubt about it. I wish there were some way I get this thing across. I leave you now and I tell you---don't let any FOOL tell you any otherwise. There...

I teach lessons in a little local shop. A few years ago I mentioned to the owner that I was looking for a small Marshall combo (I had a DSL 201 in mind), and he let me know when a JCM-800 arrived. I traded him my old '68 Twin Reverb for it, and have been pleased with the arrangement ever since. See, the Twin (which I'd had since '95 or so) had served...

This guy's on my old WWF wrestling tapes. It looks like I have a world exclusive on him "and his pals." Oh, he's a biggie. The book signing starts at 7pm my time. So I guess I'm off soon. I'm bringing the camera, so soon we will have some extraordinary shots. I hope I can get a few piccies with him. I don't see why not. More importantly I'd like to see...

There are just as many human beings alive today as there were in 1974 when I pulled off the California Jam stunt. Are you telling me I'm the only one in the world who thought of doing that? If that's true we've got a lot to reckon with. I am the only one who matters in sound.
