I love my Casino, and with rehearsal volumes at a reasonable level, the feedback is controllable i.e. turn off the fuzz immediately when the song stops! of course this is partly due to the hollow body, but I'm suspecting replacing the pickups would help out here. Anyone have any experience regarding this? GFS has some replacement P90s, what are they...

I know this is ubber simplistic stuff, but it ties into my other posts re; Modes. If perhaps you know of a beginner, this might help her or him! The 7 modal forms basically overlay these 5 -OR- it can be said that these 5 overlay or fit within the modal forms! It's all a treadmill. Does anyone like their pickups as close to the strings as possible? I like the bridge pickup a few mm away from the strings and the neck pickup at the right height to balance with the bridge. If the strings are giving wolf tones, I gently lower both (keeping them balanced) until it's gone. I just don't get the whole thing about pickups sounding better...
