I tried a couple of things. First I bought some Blowout specials from the GFS site, two 4 conductor white buckers that wired to Duncan codes......B 14K and N 10K sounded a bit smoother than the stock bannzies, but not what I was after.....they are REALLY nice for 38 bucks a pair though! So I just bucked up and did a Duncan Jazz in the neck, and a Duncan Custom...

Man, Sychronicity came out in 83, they came thru my town about that time, or early 84, and I was a broke college student, so I didn't go. Figured I would catch'em next time around. 24 years later, I got to see one of my two favorite bands (Steely Dan is the other). Tickets were $200 for floor or lower bowl. I got lower bowl about 80-90 ft from stage....
