Have just purchased subject for PC recording and I'm very impressed, especially with the clean sounds (which my zoom G2 couldn't deliver so well). I was pretty fond of my zoom so maybe I'll end up using both :-)

Shameless plug... In case ur interested, a few clips from our gig this saturday. Just bits from a few of the first songs...sadly all same songs as on the other gig. Next time gotta ask someone to record some of the new ones. I have just had a new laquer finish for the Davette (the white bastard of a charvette) and it is now officially TheBestGuitarIHaveEverPlayedHandsDown(TM),...

This is a song I did. I don't want to say I "wrote" is, as it is more aptly an arrangement of horror movie themes, and other "scary music", done as a rock tune. It started with me imagining Steve Vai playing one of my favorite horror pieces (I won't say which right now). I took an informal survey of people I knew, asking them what music most sent chills...

I remember this topic came up about 2 years ago and I don't remember the outcome so please bare with me: What do you use to polish your guitars and do you do anything with the fret boards? I see some older guitars with maple fret boards with what to me looks like crud on the frets. Is that warn out frets(well played or something else? Thanks

Here's part two of my Hybrid Picking journey. I'm actually starting to get a callus on my right hand ring finger. Not used to plucking with it I guess. :) Here's a cool lick using notes mostly from the A minor pentatonic scale. Try and let all open strings ring as long as possible. * ca.youtube . com /watch?v=-FQgZieuhhk
