Is anybody familiar with what type of pedal(s) Pete Heitzman uses with his acoustic guitar? Pete plays with Karen Savoca. The sounds he makes with a pedal, combined with string bending, are unlike anybody else I've heard.

If anyone's interested: I just did some internet reading on the inbred looking fellow that 'played' banjo in the movie Deliverance. The guy's name is Billy Redden and he received $500.00 for his role in Deliverance. He is not retarded, and auditioned for his role along with other high school students. He has done two films since. (imdb . com ). { ...

Does anyone have any recommendations for a starting out multi-effects pedal? I'd like to be able to make some interesting noises, (wah & tremelo most notably) but I'm not good enough yet to warrant anything expensive. I'm into GnR, Hendrix, Velvet Revolver, Led Zep, Muse etc so those are the kind of noises I wanna be able to make. Anyone had any good/bad...

I have been playing now for about 4 months. During that time I have changed strings about 6 times and each time I have varied the string gauge. I have tried to pay close attention to the differences in the different sizes and brands of strings....I know it may seem a bit padantic but I even keep notes on my observations.... Something I have noticed...

This is an interesting site. You type in the serial number of your guitar, hit "submit" and it tells you where your guitar was made (if you don't know already): * w w w .guitardaterproject.org/epiphone.aspx

My Peavey Raptor has the following pickups: One near the fretboard, one in the middle, and a double towards the end. The switch has 5 positions. Is there some rule of thumb on where that switch is supposed to be set? I need lessons. :)
