Even if they don't give you a hard time you feel kind of stupid showing up without having practiced. One thing that's good about lessons is that it gives you someone to play with, which you might not otherwise have. Someone...

concrete igloos http :// glamourpriya.blogspot, com Lunar dust could be used to build giant telescope mirrors on the Moon – some of which could fill entire craters. Dust is often thought of as an impediment to lunar exploration, but could be put to good use to build giant telescopes on the Moon. A simple method to create a concrete-like substance using...

Please try this new web-based classical/flamenco guitar design tool. I just finished this for Larry Breslin, a long-time guitar maker: http :// www .deerheadguitars, com /SonataOrderManager/InitializeSpecs.do After visiting, I would like to hear your feedback, suggestions for improvement, etc. You don't have to order a guitar, just select "estimate" to get...

Hi everyone, I have a question to ask about how low is considered *too* low when setting a guitar action? Before going any further, I want to add that I'm relatively new to guitar practice, I've only been playing about a year now, and I'm not very familiar (or should say ignorant) with guitar setup. About 2 weeks ago, I went to a local music store...

Sorry if this has been asked about a million times before. What is the best material (online, videos, books) for a complete beginner like me to learn the acoustic guitar. Want to eventually go onto the electric, but thought I would start with a cheapo acoustic just in case I am too backward to play an instrument. Would like a tutor, but money is an issue...

What exactly are nylon strings? Are they like nylon panty hose? Are they cotton? I looked at purchasing the nylon strings an it says Gold, Black an Silver? Just...

I have been trying to learn a little more about lead guitar which has led me to some books on scales and theory. Im enjoying the theory part a lot. Three books im working from are Guitar Fretboard Workshop, Total Scales and Applications and Fretboard Logic. One thing that has clicked for me is how the 5 root positions all connect. If someone had told...
