Hi Folks, Last night at practice/rehersal we were given a song for this Sunday's service that has a decidedly celtic feel to it. I've never played bass for something like this one before (soung sounds great BTW). This would appear if you watched with out sound to be a very inefficient fretting hand technique but really it's a study in string muting. Great bass line. I am just speculating since I have no experience or otherwise knowledge. But I'm wondering about these new Hartke paper/aluminum cone speakers. Sounds good in theory for players wanting an "in between tone". But then again upon looking at them, the aluminum part is rather small, does it even figure in? I know of someone selling off his bass rig, which I believe is a Basskick 707 model, along with an H-K 4x10 cab. I'm familiar with H-K primarily as a guitar amp, but as far as I know I have never heard their bass amps. HI all, I have been playing a Cort Artisan B4 and I am very happy with it. Before I just default into a Cort Acoustic Bass I was wondering about suggestions for other brands.
