The band is over. I am the only one in the band that put any effort into learning songs, finding people, keeping things going, arranging for a demo recording session etc. Even when I was sick with pneumonia I kept things going. I am one of the easiest leaders you will find. All I asked was that you show up for rehearsals on time, don't leave early and...

Listenin to Journey's stone in love on pandora, com and man does that bass line kick ass. Who wrote it? Ross Valory I think is the bassist listed in the liner notes if an amazon, com comment is to be believed. I was playing with the church praise band on Sunday. On one song the drummer, guitar players and singers were all on a different tempo. Being the bass player I was totally lost in the wilderness on what to do. I was praying for the song to end soon. Normally I wouls lock into the drummer but knew he was off. He was playing some strange tempo that...

Hi, I was just wondering weather anybody on here has had any experience with this Bass: http :// www .dv247,com /invt/froogle/38318/ There's nowhere local that I can try this Bass so I may just take the risk and buy it on-line. Regards, Debs

This is interesting. I have led bands for decades but the one I'm in now has been rough. Nobody listens to me. They come to rehearsals late if tey show up at all. The bass player has been the worst (I'm playing guitar). He doesn't work on the songs, he doesn't know the songs, he is absent half of the time etc. We rehearse from 5:30 to about 11 PM. (I...

Can't believe I'm selling this, but since I have the Markbass, I just don't need it anymore. http :// cgi.ebay, com /ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=220249040404&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=012

I wonder if anyone can help... I need a second bass for gigging but don't want to blow money on some heap of rubbish just in case a string breaks so have decided to get myself another bass of at least the same quality as the Warwick I already have. Ideally I would like to go to some emporium with loads of basses that I can try, does anyone have any...

http :// www .holytaco, com /2008/06/17/14-songs-you-should-never-play-in-a-bar/ This article is related to songs on jukeboxes, but I'd say the same could be applied to bar bands, too. Funny stuff. Mike

http :// phoenix.craigslist.org/muc/727990355.html (there's also an amusing pic) We recently decided to part ways with our bass player. While he was pretty punctual to practice; we need someone who's not in their 30's, bald, an oompa-loompa, and hitting on underage kids at every show we do; works as a rent a cop and still lives at home with his alcoholic...

I just purchased two Washburn bass guitars, one is an Washburn XB-125 5-string and the other is a Washburn RB-2802 8-string. Since I purchased them used and in excellent condition I don't have an approximate value more for insurance instead of selling them. Does anyone have any idea on the their value? -- Thank you, C. W. When its made by a three time ex federal convict, who was busted for forgery, drugs, and other bizarre crimes. When it is made from JUNK part, thrown together by a NON-BASS player, who has turned from FAKED VINTAGE GRETCH Drums to FAKED VINTAGE JUNK BASS's! You see Robert has no real talent, so he buys or steals parts and throws them together, and...
