I just finished my Valve Junior modification. One of the several options I built in: If you pull all of the speaker cables, a dummy load automatically kicks in. There's also an adjustable line out. So, it now becomes the world's biggest real tube overdrive pedal! Here are a couple of pics: * w w w .seattle-attorney . com /guitar/ModifiedFront.jpg * w w w .seattle-attorney . com /guitar/ModifiedRear.jpg If...

Anone have a complete schematic for this unit? DOD sent me everything they had, but the distortion section was missing. I'd like to make some changes in that section to give it a little more character.

Hi, Very long ago I asked questions about using an Electro Harmonix Deluxe Electric Mistress flanger for doing ADT-recordings. I got some helpful information, but for some reason didn't go about testing it until now. So, I ran the guitar clean into the pedal and two cables into a portastudio. (One from the flanged out, one from the direct out). And though...

Hello, i have been listening to a lot of distortion type sounds because i am looking for a hard edged type of distortion. I really like the type of distortion that Wes Borland of Limp Bizkit uses and was wondering how i can obtain that sort of sound. I have a Marshall JCM2000, what kind of EQ's or what Pedals do i need? Just basically how can i get that...

Hi there, I've just found two 70's Colorsound wah's for sale pretty cheap. They are said to be pretty crappy, sounding scratchy etc and are being sold as "renovation objects". Right, so I hope there's little else but some scratchy pots here. Contact spray might not be enough, dismounting the pot and gently cleaning the carbon layer with a cotton top...

In the last month or two, somebody posted something about a guitar mag article about modifying pedals. I don't know if it was a review, a "how to," or what. If you know what it was, where it was, and especially if you have an online link, PLEASE chime in!

Hello, does anybody tried (or have heard of someone) to build an acoustic simulator (i.e.: a clone of the BOSS Acoustic Simulator AC2) ? I found the Boss AC2 schematics and I started to search for some components that appears to be difficult to replace (i.e.: 2SK880GR is a buffer fet that -maybe- could be replaced with a J201, the mux/demux TC4052BF...

Hi, Just an idea I got. Can an octave pedal (octave down) be used to mimic a barytone guitar. I'¨m thinking spaghetti western here. Spent some time yesterday with a friends a computer and a program called Guitar Rig and really liked the simulated Boss OC-2 that it had there. The OC-2 in itself might sound a bit too synthetic to make a believable baryton,...

I was looking at the digitech RP350 or the Korg AX1500G. Can't decide. Both sound good to me. I like the USB on the digitech as well as the many more different effects. X-edit sounds good, but I have a Mac and the software isn't available yet...says coming soon, but who knows how long that will be. Korg is well built and has the sampler and seems...

A couple of the seven-segment LED displays in my triaxis have segments that don't work. Does anyone know where I can find replacements and/or what the part number is? Thanks, Rich

Hi, in order to get a more vintage sound from the NeoVibe do you think it is appropriate to substitute all/some of the metal film resistors with carbon resistors ? Bye
