From an idle, the car dies if I give it a lot of gas; however, if I slowly try to get the RPM’s up, it’ll run and I can rev the engine so long as the rpm’s are up. Any thoughts on my problem? I had the carburetor rebuilt, tank resealed, no work to fuel pump, could use new plugs and wires, did put on new points, distributor cap, coil. But I am by no...

Hello, Any guidance anyone can offer in coaxing the seatbelt out of the retracted position? It didn't retract back all the way and I now can't get it to extend. All assistance appreciated. Best, Paul

I'm looking to move a vehicle from CT to AZ and it looks like DAS is the most popular choice. Anyone here have any experience with them?

If you're restoring a car from a pile of parts and want it just as it came from the factory, DO NOT rely on magazine ads or other advertising material Quite often these show prototypes and changes may have been made before production started.

My friend in Russia is interested in Ford A1 model. These were started at the end of 20s here. Can anyone help me with customs rules for such cars. I'd prefer someone to direct me to sources rather than give me a 'yes' or 'no'. I wouldn't want to buy one to later find out that it can not be exported. Thanks much!

On my answering machine, about once a week, I have a truncated message telling me that the warrantee on my car is about to expire and offering to extend it. (Obviously, it will do no good to "Press 1.") Today, I got a call from a live person, seemingly a trainee. She had no idea what a Studebajer was nor even that they wouldn't extend a warrantee on a...

One used car that passed through my hands years ago which would be ideal for me now was a 1976 Honda Civic. I'm looking for a small, reliable hatchback and wonder what car maade five or so years ago woyuld fill the bill. The Civic hatchbacks around here got fitted with fart pipes and are not what I'm after. Any engine / tranny combo will do. Reliaility rates...

My friend has a 1966 Buick Special that he has had for probably 20 years, and he has maintained it as well as he could, but he has three other vehicles, and his wife has two more, and he feels it is time to get rid of it. I think it runs well, but the body has been repeatedly patched and needs some work. It has a small V8 and automatic transmission. I...
