Guys, I recently found a Jaguar e-type that I would like to buy ... but what series is it? I do not want to contact the owner before knowing exactly what is it and being able to make a reasonable offer. Here are the pictures, not very good but should be enough. My guess is that it is the 4.2 Series 2 OR 1.5 but I am not sure... three windshield wipers,...

Hi all, need an opinion on something here. Basically I need to know if I'm being too picky or if i have a legitimate complaint. A couple months ago I sent some pot metal parts to a fairly well known chrome shop to be replated. Cost was not really an object; finding a plater that would be willing to work with my parts was. One was a very large parking...

Guys, I've got a 1971 red MGB GT for sale. The batteries had gone flat and the engine is gripped. I'm not much of a mechanic so I've decided to part with it. The last time I used it, it worked like a rocket. Call me, make me an offer on 07828 168 105. picture available on request. The car isn't bad. It just needs a bit of attention. L.

I need to remove the 318 from my 67 Plymouth. the question is would it be easier if I also removed the 727 transmission still attached? All this work will be done on my back in my garage. TIA Greg

Apparently, insurance company repairs as well as 'total loss' claims are lowballed as a general practice. I just read an article at www .claimsreporter, com that says that you can get on average, the ~$2K difference needed to get a replacement ride (vs. trade-in)... for sure, if it was not your fault. Anyone got any experience with using a local 3rd party appraisal...
