Hi all of you!! Nice to have joined something like this!! I have recently bumped into this collecting site, and was pleased to see their offer of antiques and vintage items. DIRTY OLD CAR I drive an old car - over forty years old. I drive it about 500 - 1000 miles a year. We have a nearly new Camry for trips other then my short runs to doctor, volunteer work and odd-and-ends. This car brings back memories to a lot of people and trips back home have often been...

I am considering buying an antique truck for deliveries...a small enough model that what would hold less than today's minivans. What's the first year, make and model offered in America that had air conditioning as an option? I understand some cars, like Franklins, as early at the 1910s, had ammonia-based air conditioners. Although Franklin was a fancy...

Hi, I'm working with a friend on his 1931 Marmon 88 straight-8 engine. He pulled the fully functional engine about a year ago, had the whole thing miked out, replaced all the parts that needed it etc. in prep for a rebuild to fix leaks and generally restore the engine. The engine is now all back together, and we can get it to turn over and run under its...

I'm looking for a very good intake/exhaust manifold for a 218 Dodge to replace my unrepairable one. Send me an email if you have one or know where I can get one for sure. This is for a 1949 Dodge Wayfarer Business Coupe but I'm told up to 1952 will fit.If you can send pictures of the manifold that would be great .Thanks.

I am looking for a small, inexpensive reliable car. A Honda Civic of the mid/late 1970s would do,...
