Hi Viatologists, As you may know, April is RSS month. In keeping w/ the tradition, the Worldwide Highway Library recently shared a *new* WHL-360 presentation through its RSS feed ( http :// worldwide-hwys.calrog,com ). Now, we share this *same* capture w/ the rest of the world at http :// worldwide-hwys.calrog,com /tmp/1104-04/ . This WHL-360 capture...

Hi Viatologists, If you blink, you'll miss the exit to California Business Route 17!!! This four-laned boulevard was once a constituent of a California State Route 17 in Santa Cruz County. Today, the route lives on and serves local business an offers a few service stations. To find out exactly where this, look no further than the Worldwide Highway...

Hi Viatologists, To borrow an old Irish phrase, "you can't have one w/out the other"! Alongside today's Route100 video is a complimenting WHL-360 capture: http :// worldwide-hwys.calrog,com /tmp/1104-02/ This presentation allows you to see ths Water/Ocean Streets intersections as you see fit. So, you've heard of WHL-360 technology. So what is it?...

Hi Viatologists, Known to a few souls (except those privy to California legislature), Santa Cruz has a secret & hidden route. Known as State Route 100, the thoroughfare is symbolically represented by Ocean and Water Streets. Alas, there is not a single highway shield that denotes the route's legislative definition. But that's ok--it gets it share...

http :// perimetergrid, com /wp/2008/04/10/surveillance-and-ubiquity/ <...> If people were caught for speeding every time, and fined every time, a $75 fine would be absurd . the fine could probably be under $1 and still bring in a few hundred dollars a month from every citizen. What is the right legal structure here? I can see two possibilities: ...

A couple of days ago, I was driving along NE 8th ST in Bellevue, WA. Traffic was backed up at the time, so I was actually waiting. Out of the corner of my eye in my right mirror, I spotted a Bellevue motorcycle cop hopping his bike up onto the sidewalk. He was cruising along at about 20 MPH. I figured it must be a bank robbery or something to justify whizzing...

Unfortunately, none available in my area. :-( (apartment complex) Had a thunderstorm come through Kansas City earlier this evening. At about 4:30 we had three hailstorms hit in the space of less than half an hour. The first two were pea size; the third was just over marble (Aunt Judy's favorite traffic weapon) size. My concern was that I drive a soft-top...

Nutshell version: a longtime resident of St. Joseph, MO, who was brought illegally into the United States from Canada as a child in 1972, goes to Canada for his father's funeral in January. Hi Viatologists, The Chihuahuan Desert has it share of natural beauty, but also has the tendency to pick up a little dirt in the late spring. As evidenced yesterday, a stretch of Interstate 10 around Las Cruces, NM was closed for two hours as winds spun at 60 km/h. The Las Cruces Sun News has put together an interesting piece on one such transpired...
