Hi Viatologists, Good morning! We've added a couple photos of US Business Federal Route 54 in El Paso: * w w w .wwtl.info/tmp/2905 Come see the route at her southern terminus -- she interchanges w/ a well-known, local freeway! Glancing inwards, you may notice a little "A" in the bottom lefthand corner of the Federal Route shield. This could...

Took a little pleasure drive this evening but had the misfortune to get stuck behind some oblivious tard in a dark green older Camry. This guy barely got up to 40 MPH in a 50 MPH zone. Through his rear window I could clearly see the problem: the little backlit color LCD of his cell phone was clearly visible as he dialed a call and then launched into a conversation....

I have a request for the denizens of RAD. Rather than labeling the other driver as a MFFY or a jackass or whatever, just mention the type of car. If we conclude from your telling of the story that the Toyota (or whatever) was a turkey, great; if we think you're the turkey, at least you might learn something from us. But we will have a fairer chance if...

I was coming out of my local Kroger store. Soccer mom pulls up in huge guzzler SUV. The weather was mild. She goes into store to shop and leaves the thing running for who knows how long just so her Ritalin rat kid can sit in AC. Sheesh.

KTLA reports that Americans droive 4% less in March, 2008 versus March, 2007. That's the biggest drop since the 1940s, when gasoline and tires were rationed during WW II. More people are riding public transit, bicycles, and (gasp!) even walking. Many are dumping their gas-guzzling SUVs and buying smaller cars. The result is that the demand for gasoline fell...

* money.cnn . com /2008/03/26/autos/slow down save gas/index.htm > In a typical family sedan, every 10 miles per hour you drive over 60 is like the price of gasoline going up about 54 cents a gallon. That figure will be even higher for less fuel-efficient vehicles that go fewer miles on a gallon to start with. > Driving even slower, say 55 mph, could...

Hi Viatologists, As part of our domain migration to * wwtl.info, the video collection became inaccessible. The outage was caused by outdated underpinnings in the WWTL video player. As such, you would have seen a white screen when attempting playbck of your favourite road videos. This issue has just been resolved; we apologise to viewers who...

Hi Viatologists, The Worldwide Transportation Library has fully migrated to * wwtl.info . The address you've previously come to know, * worldwide-hwys.calrog . com , now forwards to the new address. To get a bit more granular: All photograph and video entries are now "exclusive domain" of wwtl.info. In other words, * worldwide-hwys.calrog . com /il-50.html...
