Not just a Sloth, but an oblivious MFFY Sloth who almost failed to yield. He came puttering out of a side street and started to pull out in front of me, forcing me to slow just in case. At the last moment he did yield, but by then the damage was done; I missed the green light that I otherwise would have made. Goddamn MFFY Sloth morons... -- "Dave's...

http :// bloomberg, com /apps/news?pid=20601170&sid=ayj1uo_gdNI4 Just disproves the theory that big oil doesn't want new sources of crude - they're drilling the F out of the Bakkan formation in N. Dakota. There's a lot more that they would drill, in other places like ANWR and offshore USA except for the environmental pinheads and obstructionist democrats that...

http :// www .cnn, com /2008/WORLD/americas/06/02/mexico.bikers.ap/index.html Maybe he really didn't like it when bicyclists take the lane. It's really annoying when drivers push their way around a biker at an intersection, only to stop in front of the biker and refuse to move when the signal turns green. Try to pass them and they start yelling and honking....

My wife and I recently found ourselves looking at that gift from the future (our future tax dollars) - the government stimulus check. We decided to use part of it to upgrade our car stereo receiver. Currently, our car stereo supports only cassette tape playback. We found one that supports HD Radio, front USB port with MP3 playback, and a front...

Seems some drivers are putting less gas into their tanks due to the high prices. The problem is some of them end up running out of gas. And, of course, when you let your gas tank run completely dry, in the last few minutes you suck all the crud from the very bottom of your gas tank into your engine. So they might "save" (actually defer) some cost now, but...

Imagine if you had a box on your dashboard that not only relayed traffic conditions to other such boxes on other peoples' dashboards, but also relayed Smokey Reports? You could be driving along and suddenly the box would alert you to the fact that there is a cop on the overpass up ahead shooting cars with LIDAR and radioing down to a fleet of chase cars...
