Hi Viatologists, It's time to roll into $BBfKL;T(B (Taipei)! The Worldwide Transportation Library releases new photographs of Secondary Route 5: http :// www .wwtl.info/tmp/0806/ This route runs through the densest population areas of the ROC. As a tributary of the Taiwan 1 tollway, the route passes by western businesses and high-rise accomodations. We...

Hi Viatologists, As of 8-Jun-2008, the Worldwide Transportation Library provides geographic coordinates for 15.46% of its 2,205 road photographs. Through retroactive action, the 'Operation Coordinates' program will increase the per centage of photographs containing coordinates over time. http :// news.yahoo, com /s/ap/20080606/ap_on_bi_ge/japan_iea_climate_change This should bankrupt the Nation - at least if it were doable - but it isn't. Its not doable because it calls for 1400 new nuclear power plants. Of course the enviro-wackos will keep that from happening, so it is idiocy to spend a penny on "global warming" unless the success of it...

Hi Viatologists, Happy Saturday! The Worldwide Transportation Library (WWTL) now offer photographs of the Old Seward Highway in Anchorage, Alaska: http :// www .wwtl.info/tmp/0706 These days, the former route is bypassed by the Alaska State Route 1 expressway. Traffic flow on the old route is light and many of her original two-lane stretches remain...

WGN reports tonight that sales of SUVs have dropped by 20-something percent. One Toyota Highlander on the lot had been rotting away for 4 months, has had its price reduced 5 times, and still generates no interest. Meanwhile, there is once again a weeks-long wait to get a new Prius. If you can afford the gas, now's a GREAT time to buy an SUV. :) -- "Dave's...

Here's bad news from some more scientists: http :// news.yahoo, com /s/ap/20080606/ap_on_bi_ge/japan_iea_climate_change Claims that we need to be spending 45 trillion bucks to counteract global warming by the year 2050. It involves building a significant number of nuclear power plants, too. We can be fairly certain that we're not going to spend like that...

Why would somebody want to steal a 1994 Chevy Caprice -- Blue Book value about $2500? This happened to my mother-in-law. In the parking lot of a senior-citizen apartment building, they broke its ignition switch (replacement parts: $250) but for some reason didn't actually drive it away. -- Charles Packer http :// cpacker.org/whatnews mailboxATcpacke...
