The little check/service engine icon light came on in my 01 PT Cruiser. I had a code pulled and was told it's a switch on the power steering pressure line that boosts the idle so the engine doesn't stall when parallel parking. The switch was back ordered at the Chrysler dealer, but they told me this switch, when faulty, should NOT turn the check engine light...

My 300M has 65000 miles on it, has given fairly good service. Now has a loud squeak when turning the steering wheel (left and right) - = does not seem to be the belt, the power steering reservoir is full and = no leaks??? Would appreciate areas I might check which might get rid of = the squeak. Thanks in advance... Ralph Griffith --=20

Manual states: "Using a trim tool, disengage the retainer clips from the door trim panel to the door panel." I don't know which tool to use or how to use it (wedge it in, tip to pop the clip up, push it, hook something inside and pull it?) I have a tool that looks like the 3rd one pictured in the link given below; "door upholstery remover". Two frames...

Hi, I've poked around this and some other groups looking for some info. From what I've read online, it's not possible to change the ignition timing on a 1994 Jeep Cherokee with the 4L engine. I gave the local dealer a call and asked if they could do anything about the pinging (even on high test, it's getting bad). The dealer said turn the distributor....

I was stopped. A red light runner got my 2001 LHS. Right front side swipe. Grill to right fender. Both airbags popped and of course will be replaced. Body shop says steering column must also be replaced. Is this standard? Will it be the whole column assembly including the steering wheel, stalk and controls, housing and all? Thanks for any comment...

My 2003 Chrysler T&C has a noticeable abruptness to its 4th Gear to 3rd gear downshift. As the car decelerates to 30 MPH, the 4th to 3rd gear downshift takes place. But the downshift is not smooth. I have read that the valve body could be the root cause of this. I have the Chrysler Shop manual for the car and it details the removal and cleaning of the...

Hi Hopefully someone could help. windshield washer don't work. If I connect rear wires to front pump, it works fine. not just from normal switch. I have tried to find fuse or relay without success. Headlight washer is working from relay but not from switch. It should come on sametime with windshield washer.

Any scans of the shop manual around? I need to replace the expansion valve, the receiver/ dryer and one of the hoses.
