I am trying to find a piece to bridge the gap between the rear door on my 2000 ford explorer and the rear window cause everytime I turn on my rear wiper, it gets stuck between the two. I already burned up my wiper motor cause once it gets stuck there, the motor is trying to fight the blade being stuck and not working properly. So if anyone knows where...

I read all the postings on this newsgroup that I could find on power window problems and followed links to Explorer fix-it websites but I seem to have a problem that was not covered in the other posts as best I can tell. My 1996 Explorer XLT w/ 140K miles is having a problem with both front door power windows. Both rear power windows work normally. The...

seems this happens every few years, but I can't remember how I fixed it last time. Not a motor issue. More like a switch/replay/dirty contact issue or "something needs to reset" issue ideas? thanks! dan 1994 Exploder XLT 4x4

My heater will only come on if the outside temp reads 60 degrees or more on the overhead console, and then it doesn't come on every time. I looked through past posts but didn't find anything like this although the "blend door" problems sound somewhat similar. Is there a tie in between the temp sensor and the heater dontrol?

The leather has badly disintegrated over time. Anyone know if it's just the standard plastic wheel underneath? Thanks!

Hey all, This has sort of been covered before, but I can't find a definitive solution. I bought an '02 Ford Explorer EB 4x4 used, but in what appeared to be great condition. Well, the warranty is up and I'm having a little issue I'm a bit concerned with. Every now and then--maybe 1 in 4 starts--my Explorer has some trouble. It sounds like it is turning...

I just found out my brake lights are malfunctioning. All three lights wont go on until I push hard on the brakes. The guys who changed my oil think its an electrical short since all three back lights are not working. Could it be the Brake Light Switch or a full blown short? I'd also like to mention the fact that the lights on the radio don't work but the...

Anyone have or know of any detailed resources/instructions for bleeding the brake lines and replacing brake calipers and pistons for the front of a 93 Ford Exploder. Any specialty tool recommendations? Thanks in advance, Jason

We have a 2001 Explorer Sport 2WD, 4.0L SOHC. I got a new fuel filter from the parts store, but when I went under the truck to change it, the existing filter does not match the one I got from the store. The existing filter has two inputs and one output; the new filter has only one input and output. I went to a few online parts stores and verified that...
