I'm flying to Amsterdam this summer, and was thinking of taking the Silverjet flight from NYC, and transferring to EasyJet at Luton. Taking into account the terminal layout and current security issues, how much transfer time do I need to clear immigration and re-check in?

I have a swiss army knife on a pen... great for tightening the pins that hold video cables to the backs of monitors and computer systems.... at some airports I have no problems with my pen... It's a pen with a swiss army knife (small one with scissors and a 1 inch blade) on top makes nice letter opener.... while at others like JFK terminal 7 I got...

I'm going to be making an 11 hour flight, in cramped coach class and I'm about 5ft 10inches. The goal is to arrive at the destination at 5:30 AM, and being able to work all day afterwards. I have the mask and earplugs (and ear-planes) and noise reduction headphones... (I've used all of them before...and have Dramamine, just in case). The next issue...

Buried in my latest Aadvantage e-newsletter was a link for "AAdvantage Upgrade Award Changes" which I figured wouldn't be a good thing. And I was right: http://www.aa.com/content/urls/awardChanges.jhtml?anchorLocation=DirectURL&title=awardchanges $150 co-pay to claim upgrade awards in the continental US $300 co-pay for international upgrades (not...

So, last week I turn up at DUB with my online-printed boarding pass for an FR flight to England. All is fine until boarding at the gate, when I'm told that I can't travel with an online-printed boarding pass and a UK *photo* driving license. As I had done just this very thing not 2 weeks previous on a route from SNN, I protested - along with another...

Kanye West gets $3,900 meal (chef travel extra) LONDON, England (AP) -- If Kanye West were to walk into the British Raj's dining room and order dinner, it would cost the rapper about $17.50. But since the restaurant is delivering -- from Wales to New York -- it's going to cost a bit more. For a feast of onion bhajees, chapati breads, biryanis, pappadums,...
