In that two hours, I could rent a car and be at my destination. The final destination is also a two hour car trip back toward Airport B. I am thinking about booking...

Recently miscommunication and denial between Delta Airlines, Air Jamaica, Expedia and Berkley Travel have set us back over $2,500.00 in airlines tickets, hotel fees, lost wages, international phone calls and miscellaneous expenses. We are writing this letter to the entitles involved as well as selected consumer r advocate groups to see if any relief can...

I'm considering moving across the country and trying to plan some details of the move. I have a portable USB hard drive that contains some confidential info (I.e. passwords) that somehow needs to get from where I live now to where I'll be moving. -- First, don't anyone say not to store passwords on a portable drive because I use a different one for each...

There was a thread on these groups a year ago about Ryanair's then new policy of specifically prohibiting baggage allowance pooling (eg two people sharing a suitcase that's heavier than the single allowance but well under 2x the allowance). With this in mind I checked on the BMI website as we're booked to travel with them shortly. There is nothing explict...

Appreciate normal size soda drinks and liquid/gel type foods cannot be taken through airport security, but can you take food items such as home made sandwiches through TSA searches? Cannot find anything on the TSA web site either way. -- Lansbury www.uk-air.net FAQs for the alt.travel.uk.air newsgroup

Howdy. :-) I'll be leaving the UK soon to take care of paperwork back home in the US (I'm currently a tourist in the UK), but I would dearly like to re-enter the UK on a tourist visa (well, passport stamp) at the earliest possible opportunity. Is there a minimum length of time I must be away from the UK before I can re-enter on a six months tourist stamp? I...
