Apparently these are unique to Ford, one of those inovative designs :). In the passenger side back corner of the engine bay theres a "brick" connector with 4 vacuum lines going to the air pump, the oil filler neck, the manifold, etc. One of them snapped like a twig. Hi. 95 Mustang - Base package. 3.8L V6 and 5speed. 127,000km's What has happened is the car stopped running? It will start, and run for a moment and then quit. Fine. Mechanic checked fuel pressure and found bad pump. Replaced with new pump (not rebuild) and replace fuel filter at the same time. Got the car back. Ran for a day and then the same problem...

Does anybody know what it means when you pull a 34 81 code? Checked and cleaned the EGR valve, but it did not help. Before replacing anything, I would appreciate any input on this code combo.

Just bought a 1989 Ford Mustang GT 5.0, 5 speed. Its been sitting for about 5 years. Aside from the leaking heater core, it seems to run great with 132k miles on it. Anyone have any insight on what to watch out for? I'll definitely be changing the fuel filter, oil, etc. I'm worried that varnish has formed in the fuel tank and fuel system. What should...

I've replaced my alternator on my 88' 5.0 mustang, along with the clip that goes on top of it, but the problem I am having is that 3 wires go into that clip, 1 skinny wire and two other wires. The two wires have the same rubber coating on them (black with a skinny orange stripe). I'm worried that if I mismatch the two and insert them into the clip I will...

I'm restoring a 70 Mach 1 mustang. When I drive at night with the headlights on.... my left blinker light indicator arrow starts to glow. The blinkers work and the hazard lights work. Do I have a short in one of the bulbs on the left side? Otherwise everything electrical works right on the car. All replies appreciated. Thanks....
