will adding a spring tower-to-tower brace reduce the cowl shake on my '06 GT convert? if so, should I get an aftermarket part, or the FoMoCo part? (and if it makes a big difference, why the heck isn't it standard). I'm not talking about hard use here....,it 's just a toy used for normal driving (and 1300 miles in 2 1/2 years).......but the cowl shake...

I need a set of OEM Ford battery terminal covers for my 1997 GT. The new ones I ordered from the local Ford dealer do not have the raised (+) and (-) symbols. They would work, but I want the original style. I know: Picky, picky. I want to keep her 100% original. Any suggestions? Many thanks!

i have a 99 chrome yellow gt. it`s fully loaded all you can get in 99. bright paint. 77459 miles. great shape and well took care of. 5 speed 4.6. what would be a fair asking price for it? money going in on a new gt later this year. thanks for any idea`s. mp

I have the 70mm tb, 70mm mass air, b-303 cam, 30lb injectors, alum heads, 1.7 rockers, 195lph fuel pump, much more to list. What is a good base setting for the fuel pressure for my set up?

Doing about 70 to 75 in the rain on the interstate Saturday, the rear-end of my 2005 GT gave way and I spun out. Lately I think I have noticed something a little different in the behaviour of the 5 speed auto transmission in my 06 Mustang. (21,000 miles) If I slow down at city speeds for a corner, roundabout or a yield etc. and then apply the gas to accelerate moderately again, the engine rev's as if it was a manual in neutral momentarily and then the transmission...

I have a 1996 Mustang GT 4.6 I went out to run some errands today and it would not start. I just drove it earlier with no problems. It cranks over but will not start (like its out of gas) My mechanic stopped by and took a look at it. I've had my 98 GT Convertible since it was new, and in that time, I've worn down a lot of Z-rated, low-profile, sticky tires. It was good fun, but now I'm a family man and not as flush with the free cash as I once was, and the Mustang is more of an occasional commute and grocery getter, and I just don't want to drop $700 or more on new rubber. I am going to start replacing the worn tie rod ends (inner and outer) and ball joints in my 1996 Mustang GT. I have heard that the inner tie rod ends that originally came with my car are screwed onto the ends of the steering rack and then held in place by a small pin. How do I remove this pin? Is it soft enough to simply shear off if I start to unscrew...

Hello All Im a new Mustang owner. My radio is equiped with an auxilliary input for IPOD use. I wondering if there is a non OEM cable available for me to install which doesnt require a lot of work? This is the standard AM FM radio not Shaker. Thanks Dirk
