I have a '95 Civic, about 85,000 miles on it (I don't drive it that much). The automatic transmission shift lever used to be very easy and smooth to shift. But not anymore. Now just shifting out of park into reverse, or shifting from reverse into drive, that shift lever is getting harder and harder to move. Once it does shift into position, the transmission...

Edmunds Inside Line has dropped some cash for spy photos for Honda's new Prius-fighting dedicated hybrid model. And it seems that IL and Honda are in the same boat: they've both dropped good money on something that looks identical to a Prius. Go ahead and follow the link for actual photos, [...] Read More: http :// www .thetruthaboutcars, com /honda-prius-fighter-caught-testing/ ----------------------------------- Honda...

Hello, My 1992 Accord is still running. It still has the original stereo, yet the speakers now play distorted sound, so I would like to replace them. I have 2 speakers in the doors and 2 speakers in the back. They are 6.5". How do I replace the speakers? Thanks. T.I.

Well, it finally happened. A couple of days ago, the CEL came on in my wife's 98 Accord V6. She also reported that she thought the car wasn't shifting normally. I drove it and couldn't be sure, but I thought it was not shifting as decisively as it normally does. Fearing the worst, I had her take it over to our favored independent shop this morning so...

The new Civics have a digital readout on the oil quality. The dealer said we should change the oil at 40%. Is that just the first oil change or all changes? Should we wait until 10% or less? Thanks, Wayne

My 1995 NSX turn lights ( indicators) have stopped cancelling. All the lights work, but they do not cancel. I have checked the manual and it describes a cancel unit and a solenoid in the indicator arm assembly. It also say to remove the steering column covers, but I can not find a description of how to do that. Ok I could attack all the screws with...

Recently, I purchased a '95 Civic DX with about 226k on it. When I first got it, when the engine was cold it would have a roaming idle between 500 and 2k RPM. I cleaned the IACV and also cleaned and closed the FITV. Well, it stalled after I did that, so I opened the FITV up a bit and it idles low and I have to feather the gas pedal to keep it going. But,...
