Are there any opinions which filters are better or which to stay away from? I just want something that works at least as well as OEM, if I can get it cheaper somewhere like a Pep Boys, AutoZone or Salvo Auto. Definately not interested in anything like K&N. What's the consensus? Thanks in advance, -Dave

2000 Accord, 145,000 miles 4cyl VTec. The other night I got gas, not a full tank, pulled out and almost immediately the check engine light came on. Car ran fine. The other idiot lights function and did not illuminate. No other indications of a problem The gas cap was tight. OBD code was P0401 EGR flow insufficient. The code cleared and the check engine...

Hello, Group: I'm quite the novice when it comes to working on cars, but can do minor things like change the brake pads or oil. My car is leaking oil, and after having the oil pan gasket replaced, we suspect it's the oil pan. I'd like to save the money and buy the oil pan and replace it myself. Is replacing the oil pan something that should be left...

Hey all, Anyone know of a good resource to find private sales of vehicles in the US? Would like to buy a 2 or 3 year old Ridgeline or Pilot, but I'll never afford one up here in Canada! We currently run 2 civics, and would like something bigger for the weekend, to tow a camper, lug stuff from Costco etc, yet avoid the minivan at all costs! Pretty...

I have a shimmy in the wheel when pressing on the brake. So I was all set to change the front brakes and rotors, but then realized the driver side front caliber wiggles. It would seem that there are two bolts into a sleeve, one on top and one on the bottom that slide in and out when the break is depressed. It would appear these have worn out and the...

When you start the engine, the ABS light goes right off. Then, at about 10 MPH, it goes on and stays on. Any ideas as to what it most likely is? It just started doing this. Stopped car, shut off engine, start it, then it goes on at around 10 MPH, tried it several time. Thanks in advance for what to look for !!!

Just bought the car, the fuel gauge always stays on full. Wondering what is most likely the problem. Thanks in advance!

The new Accord seems bigger, heavier, fancier, than previous Accords. I think I am disappointed. Do you agree with me?

hello, I've had this problem on my 2001 4-cyl accord (automatic) for a while. It has 55K miles on it. When accelerating from a low speed, the acceleration is often not smooth, it feels like its being kicked from behind. The problem has not gotten worse nor better. I've posted before and gotten a few suggestions and want to get advice on the comments received. 1....

Good afternoon. The local Napa store quotes me $44 for a brake drum for my 1991 Accord. The local Honda dealer quotes $114. Any words of wisdom on whatever Napa is selling here? (My favorite online Honda parts dealer quotes $65, but then there's the shipping and the wait time.) Thanks -Mark

Good afternoon. I am about to install a new set of rear brake shoes on my 1991 Accord. What is the correct procedure to break them in properly? Thanks -Mark
