I had 10w30 in the car this winter, what type of oil should I put in now for the spring? I've been reading that Honda recommends 5W20, is that correct?

I have been happy with Ava and looked at the new Toyota Avalon, Camry, and the Honda Accord. I haven't looked at the Lexus ES350 yet because the dealership is about a 2 hour drive from here. The reviews look good. My initial conclusion is...

Over the last 979.3 miles... 2,500 miles per quart. Since I started getting really scientific about it, it seems as though I may have earlier been mistaken about my car's excessive oil usage. So far (in miles): 296,919 to 297,919 - 2,500 mi/qt 298,032 to 299,032 - 2,175 mi/qt 299,493 to 300,472 - 2,500 mi/qt There is some "fudge factor" involved...

I know I've got a FAQ to-do list as long as my arm that's also got a beard on it as long as my arm, but I couldn't put off Delbert Brecht's submission on his EGR repair. Delbert submitted highly educational photos and an extensive writeup on his adventure. How could I pass that up? If you've never had any experience with EGR, this will be enlightening. See...

Yikes... the Honda FCX Clarity (H2 fuel cell) gets 5.97 MPG (U.S. gallon) on liquid H2 (or is it H?). What does a U.S. gallon of hydrogen cost? --

Hello all, I have an 89 Honda Accord DX, carbureted, and I am having some trouble. I recently replaced the clutch and CV axles. All of that checks good. The specific problem I am having is that the engine idles at 3000 rpm after warming up after starting. If I shut it off during this time, it will not start again unless it has cooled down. It doesnt...

I'm new to Hondas -- drove a Miata for the past ten years -- and now have a 2006 Honda Accord coupe, with the v6 and the 6 speed. Having experienced the plethora of after market parts for the Miata, I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a source for after market items for the Honda. I'd specifically like to change the shift knob, and maybe spiff the interior...
