I know this has been done but if you could do it again that would be great. I have Michelin LTX M/S that are to be replaced. I do no off roading and don't want to spend as much as I did on those. I am looking at spending $450 to $470 installed and so far it seems that BFG Radial TA and BFG Long Trail TA fit the bill. I searched and found some reviews...

Doug, I need to write a script to modify a registry entry of a given key with one of 3 values I will provide. The order it selects the new values isn't important, so long as it selects a different value each time. This can be a .exe or .bat, as I will be dropping it into the windows startup. It doesn't need to be pretty, but must require minimal...

I have a 2000 Grand Cherokee Laredo with a stock AM/FM/Cassette head. Looking to remove and install a good quality AM/FM/CD player. I've been looking for quite a while for a head unit that has relatively large controls including preset station buttons (similar to the size of the stock player), but all seem to have small controls. Any recommendations as...

Anyone have any good pictures of your rig? I love seeing what other people have done to their Jeeps. In an attempt to see some of them, I've added a gallery to my website that anyone can upload to. It's completely anonymous if you want it to be (no registration required), and you can rate any pictures there. So upload your pic, rate some others, and...

why does my car have an inlet that points to the front? and why is it $33 as opposed to $18 like the ones that point back? can i just run a hose to the other side of it and save 15 bucks?

I just haven't been able to make up my mind about a lift. I plan to put 32 X 10.5 TSL radial super swamper tires on my hardtop '95 YJ and have been kicking around the idea of going with 2.5( OME or RE), 3.5 (Black Diamond), 4 (RE) or 4.5 (RE) inches of suspension lift (re-gearing and rear D44 are already in place). I want to avoid body lifts and shackle...

Your local gas station probably offers you 3 levels of gasoline, like gold, silver and bronze. These typically have different levels of octane in them and you will generally get a little better mileage for the more expensive type. In addition to different octane levels there are many different additives that can be in a companies brand of gasoline and...

my 88 yj has been having problems with getting gas. no gas shoots out in the carb when i hit the pedal. this happened a few weeks ago but started working again. the car was running fine until recently. when i put gas straight down the carburetor it starts and stops so i assume its just the fuel line thats faulty. the fuel filter is new so its not that....

What are the consquences (especially doing more damage or safety hazard) of driving with a cracked manifold (something in or near the exhaust system)? I've seen some other posts about how to temp fix, replace and where to take if needed. but what if I just keep driving it. One place missed it, 2 others confirmed it was there.

Hey fellas. I'm wiring a new CB tomorrow and I want to do it right. I can't find the exact answer I'm looking for on the All Seeing Eye, so here I am. When wiring power, I understand it's best to go to the source (battery). What I don't know is... 1. Should BOTH the red AND black wire be connected to the battery @ pos and neg terminals respectively? 2....
