I have convinced my significant other that we need a new Rubi in order to plow our very long driveway. My son has a Fisher plow on his '99 TJ. I'd like to put a Fisher on the Rubi to have 'backup' capabilities with my son's rig. However, Fisher's plow mount interferes with the Rubi's electronic sway bar disconnect. Is it feasible to replace the electronic...

I have an 86 Grand Wagoneer that is trashed out but has a good 258 six in it. I also have an 89 GW that is in good shape but the engine is blown. What I need to know is this: will a 258 bolt up directly to a 627 Torqueflite tranny or do I need to buy an adapter for it?? The 89 has Dana 44 axles, if that makes a difference. Thanks for any help ...

When I first saw the Jeep JT earlier in the year, I thought it looked a little like a military vehicle. I guess I know why now. Seems it was based off one/designed to be one. I just read that Jeep is getting back into the military business with the Jeep J8 military vehicle. I'm all for the JT/J8 being a military truck... as long as they still come out...

I have seen a few on Ebay but not sure if they would fit or not. 2nd, My Comanche has the Olympic rings on the driver and passenger side. Anyone know why? Thanks in advance, Jim

Well, I went and looked at a 78 CJ7 for sale today and unfortunately the frame isn't so good in the back end. The rest of the Jeep is pretty decent, but I have a feeling that finding a good frame around here (Norther WI or Upper MI) is going to be tough. This Jeep has a fiberglass tub, the engine is a 304 rebuilt with 25k miles on it, paint is ugly,...

I haven't heard or seen a word from him in some time now... I'm concerned. I wonder if his daughter worked him to death or if he finally fell in love and went off into the real world in his Jeep. -- Kate ______ /l ,[____], l-L -OlllllllO- ()_)-()_)--)_) The shortest distance between two points, can be a lot more fun in a Jeep!

The engine is what makes your car run. That is to say it is the most essential part of your vehicle. Checking your car engine helps a lot in maintaining an excellent performing engine. To check this very significant auto part, stop first the engine. Let the engine oil be poured down to the oil pan. Then, pull the engine oil dipstick. Checking your owner's...

I was thinking about posting this qustion today in class. So I did so where were you when the planes hit the twin towers? I was in class at Junior high (way before I got my 99 Wrangler) if I remember right it was math. But that day no one was doing math. We were all watching the T.V. when the Second plane the towers hit thinking oh my god oh my god this...

Hi all, I have a new "06 Jeep Wrangler X" (Great Jeep!) with a grand total of 6192 miles. When I drive about 60 mph on the freeway, the steering wheel wants to "shimmy", i.e. turn to the left, then to the right and vice versa. I have to hang tightly on this steering wheel or slow down to about 50 mph. I could really end up in the next lane, to the...
