You people posting negative posts against each other are as bad as the people you post about. STOP the useless banter, and do something positive for the whole. I'm a few days away from unsubing this group because of it. It's a shame, considering the knowledge potential here. amc djd

What is the size of the axle nut for a 2002 TJ? I assume it is 36mm but am not sure. After my friend snapped the u-joint I would like to carry the tools to remove the parts on the trail.

For a variety of reasons, I'm looking for a stock (factory) early / mid 80's auto trans for a CJ7 - in other words -- a TF999 -- to swap into my 83 CJ7, replacing the T176. It'll be going behind the 258 and front of the D300 which I understand will NOT require any adapaters (AA seems to thikn their stuff is made of gold) NOR result in front drive shaft...

I am not sure if this is pinging or simply just the normal sound of the motor. Keep in mind that I do not use my 6th gear on the highway due to...

The sun caught my grille this morning, by the PS headlight I saw a strange shadow. Kind of looked like a spider web, but the sinking feeling in the pit of my stomache told me it wasn't. The G**D**N clear is peeling off of the grille. So, Looks like tomorrow morning, I call the boys down at the dealership, and send it in. Thank goodness for bumper...
