I made the run down to Bryson City / Cherokee N.C. area in my '06 Sport taking my cousin to look for a site for her fifth-wheel camper. Advice: if you are doing something like this with a passenger, first determine their level of nervousness and susceptibility to motion sickness. While she didn't actually scream out loud or decorate my car I was expecting...

My Westco battery should be here today and I plan to install it and remove the tired Mazda battery currently <-pun not intended! installed in the car. Since the Mazda battery requires venting to the outside there's a neat little connection where the vent hoses come together and pass through the floor of the trunk to the outside. Anyone have experience...

Please reply if can help me sort out this problem. When the weather is wet, the car will start, but sometimes the windows, the wipers and the heat won't work. Any suggestions how to quickly fix this or narrow down the problem? Its a 1990 Miata with 105,000 miles. Thanks!

One of our local Miata club members created a video using footage from this year's polar bear run... http :// www .youtube, com /watch?v=GV-7QDVU5zM That's our president doing the pre-drive talk. There's just a couple of quick shots of Vixen in the snowy parking area at Hawk Mountain but you kind of have to know exactly where she's parked or you'll miss...

On the front of the vehicle, aren't really for towing per the manual. Have any of you not knowing that, ever used them for towing??? If so, what was the result??

I've reached the point in the life span of my battery when 1. The car will crank enthusiastically and fire right up if driven daily, 2. It cranks a bit slowly and hesitates, may take a couple of trys to get it to fire if the car sits for a day 3. It's marginal, maybe a 50/50 chance it'll start at all if it sits two days and 4. Has to be...

Last night I found I had a broken headlight on the 1992 MX5. On my way home I stopped at a couple of places to get a new one and found AutoZone was out and their computer showed their other nearby stores were also out. I headed across the street to Walmart and found one there, they had only two. I wonder if the H6024 going to become a scarce...

Man, do I like the charger/maintainer that I had bought not too long ago, and installed. It has gotten to the point where I seldom see it giving my battery a quick hit. And I can let my Miata just sit there, unused in the garage for a good two weeks, and when I turn her over, it cranks up just as quickly as I had just taken her for a long spin, or driven...

We have a Mazda Xedos 2l V6. Yesterday as I was driving the temperature gauge shot up to the red. I pulled over asap and when I stopped it went back down. Put 1 litre of water in (in the dark )and all seemed well. Carried on and a bit later the heater blew cold for a couple of miles.Just got home when the temp. gauge went up again but no obvious coolant leaks....

I saw over on google that there was a discussion about this several years ago. I seem to be getting the same error, but with different symptoms. Mine is not at high rev but every once in a while it will do it when I first start the car. Often after only a short time since shutting it down. Anybody have any experience or ideas about what could be causing...

My 99 has always been garaged, until lately. I live in San Diego where it hardly rains and have never noticed moisture inside my headlight lens, until now. The car has been parked in the driveway for several months, we've had some rain and now water has condensed inside the driver-side lens; I can see no leak. I've parked the car in the sunshine and popped...

Window (monitor?) shopping and came across what I consider to be a great deal on an 04 north of Houston (Conroe, TX). Only six thousand miles for $15.6k. It's Titanium (the only acceptable 04 MSM color ;-) with cloth interior. Check it out on autotrader, com if interested. I wish I could go get it myself! I gotta quit looking! Chris -- 99BBB ...

My 99 now has ~81k and the CEL came on the other day. I checked the code and it indicates the #2 O2 sensor (down stream from the cat) is not sending a signal. I scooted under the car and fiddled around with it a bit. I saw where it into the interior of the car through the floor board behind the drivers seat. I dug around there a bit but w/o removing parts...
