I'm looking for a good 1/2" torque wrench and so far I have only some really cheap rubbish ones and some really expensive ones (like a Bahco costing like 300+ US!). I wonder if it will even make sense for me to buy it on-line and have it shipped to Denmark - being that good tool shops seem not really to have gone on-line over here. My first main...

Hello all, I have a 2007 Mazda 3 Diesel and for the past year, the engine management light has been on. It has been back and forward to the Dealership but they can't find any problems and are continuing to look. Does anyone else have experience of this or know what it could be? Thanks in advance, Jon

Our 2002 MX-5 used to get a flat battery if not driven regularly. Fixed by getting a battery conditioner. Our 2004 3 Sport suffers from a flat battery unless it gets regular long journeys. Does not seem to be a problem if we turn the alarm off. Last week the car was used for about 10 3mile trips over Monday to Friday. Not used over the weekend when...

I am considering purchasing a 2008 miata. O have a 1997 and love it. I noticed the 2008 miata required premium gas. Is this true. The dealer said it does not really require it. I will have a hard time purchasing a car that required premium gas these days. any thoughts the group has would be appreciated.

Not affiliated with the seller, but at $150.00 a wheel, this is a very decent deal. Not sure how good the tires are. http :// tinyurl, com /36lbyh Pat

Well my Miata is an '03 (Shinsen edition) with about 33K that I've had since Feb '07. Check Engine light came on 2 weeks ago. Decided to buy a code reader (~$45) and read the alert code a few days ago, which came up as P0455. This is "Evaporative Emission System Leak Detected (gross leak/ no flow)." Maybe this could just be the gas cap? which wouldn't...

Has anyone had a fuel pump replaced recently? (only 80,000 miles on a 98) Haven't got the price yet, just the diagnoses from where I had the car towed to. They don't have a price yet because they were closing....,it 's a small shop. Towing is free, AAA, don't want to get ripped off. TIA

I have an 04 MSM with 17" Racing Hart wheels. About 6 months ago the city scraped the road I take to work and the next morning I whacked both right rims on a manhole which was sticking up probably 2" from the roadway. Nose to tail traffic, I didn't even see it. Both right tires have been leaking air ever since, about 10 lbs/week. Today I got a (non-repairable)...

I recently purchased the Battery Tender with the intention of mounting the semi-permanent cable with the lugs on the end. I'm still using the OEM battery and its battery lugs are considerably larger than the lugs supplied with the tender. How did the rest of you with the tender who installed the cable, do it? ----- Clark Friedrichs / 1clarkf@sbcglobal,net --...

I need a few words of wisdom about my '99. It has 65K miles on it. About a week ago I did something that I believe was very stupid. I cleaned my engine by hosing it down. The car ran ok for a little while, but then stopped. The engine light was on. Yes - you guessed it. Water in the plug wells. Ugh! I spend the time to remove the water and dry...

When my Miata was vandalized and a few items stolen the @#&(*&^%s tried to pull off the tonneau cover by brute force cracking the dash on the passenger's side where the studs for the tonneau screw in and now they've become very loose so.... If I pull the glove box or center console/radio or ??? can I reach up in there to put some kind of backing...
