Rear dome light went out again on the lw300. In the past I found that wiggling the diode in the left side fuse panel brought it back on. Tried it in the dark last night and the top part of the plastic package broke off in my hand. After managing to extract the remainder of the diode, found that the actual diode was only crimped into the terminals and...

Well after 16 years of owning my '92 SL2, it is time to move on. I just bought a new Crossfire as I am approaching mid-life :) The car held up very well considering what others have to say. It has had the best paint job on any car that I have owned. All the paint is still original and shines as good as the day it was new. I let it go with 130,000 miles...

Since you guys know a lot about Saturns, and Cars, in general I thought mabe you could help me out here with an O/T question. The other day I cleaned my roll up metal garage door, and it seemed all right at first, but now it has these spots on it like Oxidation. Is there any way to fix this? Thanks in advance for any help on this!

The inside of the buttons in both my remotes have melted enough over the years that they rarely work any more, so the only way to start my car is to use the over ride button to disable the kill switch. It is a 12 year old car, so it doesn't need an alarm system. Is there an easy way to disable it? I don't care if the keyless entry works or not since...

I received the bill for the 2008 VUE insurance that my daughter just bought. She has a couple of speeding tickets out there and the insurance for the VUE is only $94 a year more than the 2002 SL1 that she owned. I was very surprised. Only $306 a half year.

My SL is fine when it is cold, but when it is warm it pings almost constantly, especially in higher RPMs. The previous owner changed the thermostat to a lower setting 170, I think. I also did not have any (less than piss warm) heat over the winter. I was wondering if these 2 problems are related. I do not have any service engine lights on. Thanks Wayne...

Well - 2 weeks ago I got a speeding ticket with my '06 Vue for doing 78mph. Where I live (LI) that's the average speed everyone does and it was just my unlucky day to get singled out of the pack. I've been driving since 1987 and have never gotten a ticket before, so you figured he would have cut me a break, but no - he had to be a dick about it. Anyway,...

I was thinking about using some of that Prestone Fuel Injector Cleaner on my L-300 but I was wondering if it might harm my engine? I was also wondering how well a $5 product could clean Fuel Injectors on a car? So what do you think is it worth it, or is it a waste of money to use it? And would it do any damage to my engine? Thanks, for any, and all help on...

hello.. my 2003 ion was rear ended, and a the whole back end had to be replaced. I was examining the work, and I noticed from the inside of the trunk, while looking from the back seat area, I noticed light leaking in from the upper corners of the trunk. I ran a hose around the trunk, and from above and water did not seem to get in. Is that the way...

I have not had a chance to read my daughter's Vue manual yet since she is always out driving her new Vue. Can anyone tell me the type of oil the 2.4L uses? Thanks!
