gave up on our 2001 Lw-200 Saturday and came home with a 2008 Outlook. Nice crossover, and very big. Confused about a few things that I haven't found in the manual yet. The dashboard will give average speed and average economy, but not current economy in real-time? Also, has tow package, and I see a 7-pin wire harness already on the bottom of the...

I replaced the HVAC panel about 18 months ago because the blower switch had failed. Was a bummer that just the switch alone was not available and only came as part of the HVAC panel at about $170. Yesterday, I had the blower on high and had the AC on. A little while later, tried to turn off the AC and put the blower on low. The blower switch was jammed...

My L300 makes a severe clunking noise when driven or even when pushed in neutral. Trany fluid all over bottom of car. Is there any chance of a GM extended warranty for trany problems? Could this be a drive shaft problem, not a trany problem?

My 16 year old accidently parked my car on its roof ... in a grassy ditch with a few inches of water. She crawled out with nary a scratch - could have been very serious. The car sat on its roof for over 2 hours before the hook truck arrived ... no sign of any oil on the ditch water. ... not a sniff of any gasoline leakage. I was quite impressed. ...

I have a 2005 Vue, and I keep finding water in the trunk area where the spare tire is. Can't figure out how it is getting in there. Anybody else have this problem?

I was reading in machine design magazine, an interesting editorial on why detroit is so interested in flex fuels. Seems the MPG standards are (for purposes of CAPE) based solely on the gasoline component of the fuel. This is of course, an artificial number just to get past regulatory restrictions. full article: http :// machinedesign, com /ContentItem/72894/LelandTecshlersEditorialWhatshotNotethanol.aspx Leland...

Hi, I have a '92 Saturn SL1 with what appears to be a leaking upper radiator hose. I'm going to change the hose. How much coolant should I buy and what type should I use? I bought some Prestome premix non phospphate coolant to top it off then realized it was leaking too much. Do I need to drain the radiator or can I replace the hose then top off...

I have a '93 SW2 and would like to try replacing the front brake pads and rotors myself. Is this something someone with average mechanical skills can do? Have replaced pads on other cars, but never rotors. -- Message posted using http :// www .talkaboutautos, com /group/rec.autos.makers.saturn/ More information at http :// www .talkaboutautos, com /faq.html ...
