I have been in a wheelchair for about 10 years now and i built an 81 malibu with a 406 sbc, Edelbrock RPM heads, Tunnel Ram w/2-450 Holleys, full MSD setup, cam is crane 300 dur 510 lift, stall is 2800-3200 th350 trans, i am currently running the stock 7.25 inch 10 bolt w/ a spool and 3.08 gears, i have lakewood lift bars also. it gets out of the hole good...

I would like to know if my engine in my 80' shortbed is original... On the front passengerside right behind the alternator it reads.. 14b515382 and then in bigger letters K01 29 CMR 2 or 4 bolt main? what is it out of??? year??? thanks

Gee I just love Hyjacked threads.. Not! I haven't gotten much futher on MY project.. BUT.. I have these pushrods and lifters that I found in my stash. I don't know the brand name of them but the pushrods are 0.3125" - 0.313" dia. max. and 7.750" to 7.790" Overall Length (OAL). They all have a number on them: RP-3093 The lifters are 0.841" - 0.842"...
